The Ariano Biometano plant processes liquid and solid livestock effluents sourced from the surrounding area for the production of liquefied biomethane.
We had previously installed a Cupola M2 to serve the plant in its original biogas configuration. With the evolution of the project towards liquefied biomethane production, the intervention was expanded through the installation of an additional six Cupola M2 and two 32 m diameter cones for the pre-storage tanks.

Production of liquefied biomethane with a purity level of 99.6–99.7%, ready for market distribution.
Today, the Ariano Biometano plant represents the largest liquefied biomethane production facility in Italy.
